Senior Analyst, IT Finance Join Merck & Co., a premier biopharmaceutical company based in Singapore, as a 6‐month contract Senior Analyst in IT Finance. This hybrid role will support the Finance team in driving integration projects and financial reporting for IT division. Responsibilities Maintain monthly rolling forecast for assigned IT Finance area. Execute and close finance workstream deliverables as part of broader optimization and integration initiatives. Evaluate existing processes to identify opportunities for integration and simplification of the division integration project. Update, map and upload Apptio TBM data; analyze data for month‐end, quarter‐end and year‐end close activities. Perform monthly and ad‐hoc analysis; monitor divisional financial transactions to ensure budget compliance; assist in execution of recovery plans when estimates over/under target. Record accruals and journal vouchers as needed. Collaborate with global team members across time zones and deliver on financial management objectives. Provide budget and resource capacity information to support project and budget managers. Manage analysis and reporting of project financial aspects of initiatives within the IT Portfolio. Ensure compliance with SOX404 accounting requirements by guaranteeing error‐free monthly financial close for capital and expense. Qualifications Financial budgeting experience and proficiency. Finance project management and change impact assessment experience (e.g., finance integration, system transformation). Proficiency with SAP Financial Systems (BPC) and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical skills; expertise with PowerBI, Excel Pivot, Charts, and PowerPoint (Think‐Cell). Experience managing and analyzing budgets and rolling forecast using Apptio TBM. Ability to independently solve problems and manage initiatives autonomously. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills. Understanding of CAPEX and OPEX principles. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Global or regional experience is desirable.
