Investment Counsellor - Global Private Banking HSBC Global Private Banking helps high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients manage, grow, and preserve their wealth for generations to come. Our network of global experts helps clients access investment opportunities around the world, plan for future with wealth and succession planning, manage their portfolio with tailored solutions, and find the right support for their philanthropy. Responsibilities Partner with Relationship Managers to offer appropriate investment solutions to ultra/high net worth clients Attract/enhance high net worth client relationships and profitability Be accountable for assessing client needs, developing a comprehensive investment strategy, co‐ordinating sales and execution against that strategy, and monitoring the performance and appropriateness of the client's overall investment portfolio Be expected to involve other Investment Departments, Compliance, Risk and Marketing where appropriate to improve client's portfolios and align with risk profile Ensure Business requirements and challenges are captured and resolved prior to future service launch Qualifications Prior experience in investment counselling within Private Banking sector Excellent organisation and communication skills Passion and interest in the financial markets Strong Microsoft Office skills Risk consciousness, in particular on the trading side Strong analytical skills and multitasking abilities To be a team player, high achiever, quick to learn, detail oriented, positive attitude High level of professional and personal integrity Additional Information Seniority level : Entry level Employment type : Full-time Job function : Finance and Sales The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting. Subject to local laws, this will require the individual to satisfactorily pass a series of additional checks as part of the recruitment process and on an ongoing basis, if appointed to the role.
