Communications and Marketing Executive

This role plays a pivotal part in our organization's success by spearheading strategic communications initiatives that promote our brand, foster community growth, and advocate for the needs of underserved populations.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Communications and Marketing Executive to lead our efforts in developing and implementing integrated marketing communications strategies that span both digital and offline platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing media contacts, and coordinating press conferences, interviews, and media events. They will also collaborate closely with various teams to identify and address their communication needs through effective marketing communications across multiple channels, including websites, social media platforms, and newsletters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a cohesive marketing communications plan that drives engagement and fosters community growth.
  • Lead efforts to grow and maintain the brand and its online presence through creative content development and campaign execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address communication needs through effective marketing communications.
  • Manage media contacts, coordinate press conferences, interviews, and media events, and monitor media coverage.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Mass Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in communications, branding, or marketing roles.
  • Experience in the social service or non-profit sector is highly valued.
