About The Role
We are seeking a
Batch Management Specialist
with strong SAP techno-functional skills to join our team. The role will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and troubleshooting batch job operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
Key Responsibilities
Batch Job Scheduling and Monitoring
Schedule and monitor batch jobs to ensure timely execution.
Manage job execution using SAP scheduling tools.
Ensure jobs are executed without errors and within SLAs.
Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution
Diagnose and resolve batch job failures or delays.
Work closely with build and functional teams to resolve technical issues.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Optimization and Efficiency
Analyze and optimize batch job performance for efficiency.
Recommend improvements to reduce processing times and optimize resources.
Develop and maintain automation scripts for job execution and monitoring.
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain detailed documentation of batch job schedules, processes, and configurations.
Prepare regular reports on batch performance and SLA compliance.
Provide status updates and incident reports to stakeholders.
Collaboration and Communication
Partner with business and technical teams to understand batch processing requirements.
Communicate job schedules, status, and issue resolutions effectively.
Train and support end-users on batch job functionalities and best practices.
Requirements
Strong SAP techno-functional skills with hands-on experience in Batch Management.
Prior experience in SAP projects and batch operations.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Available to join immediately or within 1 month notice period.
