Roles & Responsibilities

Job scopes

  • Schedule and oversee batch jobs to ensure timely and error-free execution.
  • Utilize SAP job scheduling tools to manage and monitor job performance.
  • Ensure all batch processes meet defined SLAs and operational standards.
  • Investigate and resolve batch job failures or delays.
  • Collaborate with build and functional teams to address technical issues.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions.
  • Analyze batch job performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Implement enhancements to reduce processing time and resource usage.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts for job execution and monitoring.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of batch schedules, configurations, and processes.
  • Generate performance reports and SLA metrics for stakeholders.
  • Provide timely updates and incident reports as needed.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand batch processing requirements.
  • Communicate job schedules, status updates, and resolutions effectively to stakeholders.
  • Train and support end-users on batch job functionalities and best practices.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP implementation projects, with a focus on batch management.
  • Good understanding of SAP batch processing and job scheduling tools.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders and explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and adaptability to evolving project needs.
