Position Overview The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Atithi Kitchen, ensuring smooth service, operational efficiency, and an exceptional guest experience. This role involves managing the front and back of house teams, maintaining brand and service standards, optimizing profitability, and fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence. Key Responsibilities Operational Management Oversee all restaurant operations including service quality, kitchen coordination, cleanliness, and staff performance. Develop and implement efficient systems for reservations, table management, and guest service flow. Ensure all operational activities comply with Atithi Kitchen's service standards and Singapore Food Agency (SFA) regulations. Manage vendor relationships and oversee ordering, stock control, and cost management for daily operations. Customer Experience Uphold Atithi Kitchen's philosophy of warm, personalized hospitality. Greet and interact with guests to ensure satisfaction and resolve complaints promptly and professionally. Monitor online reviews and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with the marketing team to support promotions, events, and seasonal campaigns that enhance guest engagement. Team Leadership & Staff Management Lead, train, and motivate the service and kitchen teams to maintain consistent service standards. Conduct daily briefings to communicate operational goals, menu updates, and special promotions. Schedule staff shifts and manage manpower to ensure efficient coverage during peak and off-peak hours. Promote a positive, respectful, and collaborative work environment. Financial & Administrative Responsibilities Monitor daily sales, cost of goods, and labor costs to achieve profitability targets. Prepare and analyze performance reports, budgets, and forecasts. Manage POS system data and ensure accurate billing, discounts, and reconciliations. Oversee compliance with company policies, licenses, and safety standards. Quality, Hygiene & Safety Maintain a high standard of food hygiene and workplace safety in line with SFA and NEA requirements. Conduct regular checks of kitchen and dining areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance. Coordinate with pest control, cleaning, and maintenance vendors as required. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Minimum 4-6 years of F&B experience, with at least 2 years in a restaurant management or supervisory role. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Deep understanding of restaurant operations, customer service, and team management. Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and inventory management. Knowledge of Indian cuisine and dining culture will be an added advantage. Willingness to work on weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
