About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Preparation Specialist to join our kitchen team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to established recipes, portioning, and plating standards.

You will work closely with senior chefs to ensure that all food preparation tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. This includes maintaining the cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, portioning, and plating standards
  • Ensure all mise en place is completed efficiently and accurately for assigned section
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Assist senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and service preparations
  • Support the smooth flow of service, particularly during peak periods, by executing assigned tasks with precision and consistency
  • Participate in regular cleaning schedules and kitchen deep-cleaning routines

Requirements

  • Certificate in Culinary Skills or Equivalent Qualification : A certificate in culinary skills or equivalent qualification is required for this role. Preference will be given to candidates with at least 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen in Western Cuisine.
  • Knowledge, Attitude, and Teamwork : Basic knowledge of culinary techniques, a positive attitude with a willingness to learn, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential for this role.
