We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our team on a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Azure cloud operations, cloud migrations, and infrastructure automation , and will be responsible for supporting our move from on-premises to the cloud.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support cloud operations and migration from on-premises to Azure .
  • Manage and configure Azure File Share (AFS), Resource Groups, and Terraform-based deployments .
  • Implement and maintain hybrid cloud architectures , ensuring scalability and resilience.
  • Monitor and optimize the cost, performance, and utilization of cloud infrastructure.
  • Plan and execute infrastructure changes, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Apply scripting and automation tools (Git, Bash, Terraform, Python, PowerShell) to streamline operations.
  • Drive cloud infrastructure projects within the region.
  • Implement and maintain security controls and compliance standards across cloud environments.

Primary Skills

  • Proven experience in Azure cloud infrastructure .
  • Strong background in hybrid cloud implementations .
  • Proficiency in automation and scripting tools (Git, Bash, Terraform, Python, PowerShell).
  • Hands-on experience in infrastructure monitoring, optimization, and upgrades .
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security practices .

Secondary Skills

  • Familiarity with multiple cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AliCloud) and on-prem technologies.
  • Understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP, and DNS .
  • Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate) will be an advantage.

Requirements

  • 6–12 years of experience in Cloud Engineering / Cloud Operations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead regional cloud infrastructure projects.
