Research Fellow (Molecular Biology/Biochemistry and Structural Biology)NTU Institute of Structure Biology (NISB)provides a complete pipeline for Structural Biology to accelerate discovery in basic and applied bioscience. At NISB, we aim to integrate comprehensive Structural Biology tools to address fundamental questions in biology, to understand human diseases and to accelerate structure‐based drug discovery. We bring our gene of interest from plasmid to atomic‐level structure using state‐of‐the‐art platforms for protein expression, biophysical characterization, and imaging (cryo‐EM, tomography, X‐ray crystallography). For more details, please view Key Responsibilities Interact with academic and industry users to define their needs and help design and perform protein expression along with the core NISB team. Collaborate with the core team to ensure timely delivery of quality protein samples and associated documentation. Ensure adequate reporting and documentation of tasks commissioned by users. Conduct in‐house research and platform technological development. Job Requirements PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Structural Biology, Biotechnology or a related field. At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role with technical hands‐on expertise in protein work. Strong written and oral communication skills. Excellent publication record in international peer‐reviewed journals. Ability to work independently, develop solutions under strict timelines, and exhibit meticulous eye for detail and excellent organizational and time‐management skills. Leadership Competency Work harmoniously and efficiently with various academic and industry users. Collaborate effectively in a fast‐paced environment with the NISB core team.
