Join to apply for the Planning & Specification Manager role at Carrier Climate Solutions Transportation The Planning & Specification Manager will oversee the Planning & Specification team in Singapore, ensuring the delivery of high-quality HVAC Project Plans and Specifications that meet rigorous standards and clients' needs. This strategic role requires technical expertise, leadership skills, a deep understanding of the HVAC industry, and specific requirements of the Singapore market. Role Responsibilities Lead, manage, and mentor the planning and specification teams located in Singapore. Build deep customer relationships with M&E Consultants, Green Mark Consultants, ESD Consultants, and Developer accounts in the built environment sector. Oversee the development and implementation of HVAC project plans and specifications, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with local (SS, BCA Green Mark) and international standards (LEED). Collaborate closely with sales, product development, and project management teams to align project specifications with client requirements and company capabilities. Work together closely with the BD/Marketing team on product launches/seminars/roadshows and external events. Drive innovation and efficiency within the team, encouraging the use of new technologies and methodologies in HVAC system design and planning. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes that impact the HVAC sector. Develop and execute strategies to enhance team performance, client satisfaction, and project success rates. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, enhancing the company’s reputation and market position in Singapore. Manage stakeholder relationships across projects, ensuring clear communication and effective problem-solving. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a leadership role within the HVAC or Construction industry, with a strong preference for candidates with experience. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams. In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems (Chillers & Airside), design principles, and international standards. Exceptional project management and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
