We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Culinary Officer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a culinary professional to take on a leadership role in our Western kitchen, working closely with our Head Chef to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in creating and preparing Italian cuisine, ensuring that food handling and hygiene regulations are followed in accordance with industry standards. They will also be responsible for maintaining the quality, quantity, and correctness of food items served and displayed, as well as checking that quantities and qualities of ordered items are received and stored in proper condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Head Chefs with creation and preparation of Italian cuisine.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and waste.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and specials.
  • Train and supervise junior staff members.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in the culinary industry.
  • Prior experience in Italian cuisine preparation is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation principles.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
