Job Title: Computer Hardware Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Computer Hardware Specialist to join our team. As a Computer Hardware Specialist, you will be responsible for deploying, maintaining, and repairing computer hardware and networking equipment in a data center environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform rack-and-stack activities for servers, storage, and networking equipment
  • Support burn-in and testing processes for new hardware
  • Handle basic cabling tasks (power/network), including cable tracing and patching
  • Monitor equipment during deployment and report issues if any
  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment and follow all safety procedures
  • Work closely with engineers and support teams to meet deployment timelines

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Strong knowledge of hardware components (servers, switches, racks)
  • Familiarity with cabling standards and handling tools
  • Able to lift and move equipment when needed
  • Willingness to work in a data center or technical environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in data center or IT support roles
  • Understanding of ESD safety, burn-in testing, or IT hardware handling
