Keppel Data Centres and Networks division is an expanding business within the Keppel group of companies. To achieve the growth goals and meet expectations of creating commercial and functional efficiency within all the KDCN assets, Keppel is looking for a Senior Manager with a Quantity Surveying background, and DC Project Management experience to support each Keppel DC project. The SM will work with each project lead on the appointment and management of Cost Management consultants on each Keppel DC project. The SM is senior member of the Project Management Team, required to set the Quantity Surveying and Cost Management standards within KDCN. The SM will contribute to the strategic growth of the KDC PM team’s cost related intelligence, and the supply network updates with regards to consultant and contractor capability in each of KDCN’s target markets. Specific responsibilities: Must understand and drive the Keppel mission and project objectives and understands and can explain to all Keppel stakeholders with evidence what can be carried out, what needs to be modified, what conditions are attached, at every stage of a project from identification of an investment opportunity to project closeout. Responsibilities: Create the Cost Management Standards to be rolled out across all Keppel DC projects including reporting Dashboards for Keppel stakeholders. Set the standard process for each project lead to manage project budgets and approval of progress payments in a timely and efficient manner. Review monthly progress reports with each Project Lead as required and/or prioritised, as well as assisting to validate monthly invoices against contract and works completed. Regular progress updates and comparisons to baseline for Project Reporting – create the standard for Keppel weekly and monthly detailed PCG reports. Formalise and control the variation order process and ensure the appointed cost manager follows the process. Assist to validate variation orders against contract and schedule of rates as required to control the anticipated final cost. Supply Network data base creation and maintenance. Closely monitor and track the permitting process to ensure compliance with all relevant local laws, regulations, and industry standards. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and, with each Project Lead, develop contingency plans to mitigate. Assist the Project Lead to manage project closeout activities, including the completion of final documentation specifically the final cost. Ability to manage multiple cost consultants across multiple projects and large developments. A background in mission critical development cost management essential, data centre experience preferred, min 10 years' experience. Requirements: Qualifications in Quantity Surveying and Cost Management preferred, Engineering degree, or Architecture with post grad studies in cost management, or, 10 years’ experience in cost management and/or quantity surveying roles. Strong and fair Leadership style, able to engage and communicate effectively with contractors, designers and suppliers as well as efficiently within the organisation. Greenfield data centre Site Experience preferred including: Contractor management and coordination, Contract Management, Value Engineering, Reviewing and approving proposed alternatives. #J-18808-Ljbffr
