Vice President, Quantity Surveying

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and guide a team of quantity surveyors to ensure project requirements are met for assigned projects.
- Supervise pre-contract activities, including project cost estimation, cost planning and control, preparation of tender documents, value engineering, contract documentation, and other related tasks.
- Oversee post-contract functions, such as progress payment valuation, recommending payments, valuing variations, settling variation claims with contractors, and final account settlements.
- Serve as the Lead QS for projects undertaken by the team, attending client/consultant meetings and other relevant discussions.
- Provide contractual advice and manage contractual claims.
- Collaborate with peers across disciplines for both pre-contract and post-contract project activities.
- Assist in bid preparation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or a related field from a recognized university.
- At least 20 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in a consulting firm, with a strong track record in major public sector development projects.
- Familiarity with the Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract.
- SISV and/or RICS professional membership is a plus.
- Strong planning, organizational, and supervisory skills.
