Location: Sembawang Primary School 10 Sembawang Drive, Singapore ️ Contract Period Duration: 1 January 2026 - 31 December 2027 Option to Extend: 1 January 2028 - 31 December 2028 (subject to the Authority's discretion) Working Hours: Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri: 7:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. (includes 1-hour lunch break) Thu: 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (includes 1-hour lunch break) Off Days: Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays ⚙️ Scope of Services Laboratory Preparation & Management Prepare and set up laboratory equipment, materials, and apparatus for P3-P6 Science experiments based on worksheets or Science department instructions. Keep track of Science lab lessons and ensure they are executed according to schedule. Suggest improvements or alternatives for laboratory setups to enhance learning outcomes. Inventory & Maintenance Maintain an updated Science laboratory inventory through regular stock-takes. Ensure timely procurement or replacement of consumables and lab materials. Maintain neatness, cleanliness, and safety of all Science labs and learning areas. Lesson & Student Support Assist Science teachers in conducting laboratory sessions safely and effectively. Supervise students during hands-on activities to maintain discipline and engagement. Perform morning duties as assigned to support student safety before school. Care of Learning Spaces Oversee the maintenance of the school's learning environments, including:Eco-pond Habitat Tanks - Mangrove, Marine, and Stick Insect tanks Conduct regular stock-takes of Science teaching materials issued to teachers. Administrative & Ad-hoc Support Manage records of Science resources and lesson usage. Assist with ad-hoc tasks as directed by the Science Department or School Management. Qualifications, Skills & Experience Minimum Requirements ✅ At least 3 years of experience as a Science Laboratory Assistant or Technician in a primary or secondary school environment.✅ Minimum Secondary Education qualification .✅ High initiative, responsibility, and attention to detail.✅ Competent in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel .✅ Skilled in preparing materials and managing resources for Science experiments.
