Our client in the Manufacturing industry is currently recruiting for a Regional Trade Compliance Specialist to be based in Singapore and oversee all trade compliance (export control) related matters. This is a great opportunity for a Trade Compliance professional to further develop expertise in export control and be involved in a regional role. Job Description Reporting to the Senior Trade Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for trade matters and export controls both from a strategic and operational perspective. The potential candidate will be providing operational support on trade compliance with a focus on managing APAC orders. The incumbent will ensure transactions are compliant with US Export Trade Regulations and the in-country export control regulations before processing the orders. The Successful Applicant You should have over 4 years' experience in trade compliance or export control. Knowledge in US Export Administration Regulation ("EAR") and the Office of Foreign Assets Control ("OFAC") is required. Prior experience in ECCN/HTS classification and supporting export control licensing requests would be highly advantageous. You must be an independent self-starter with proven capability to perform in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
