Injection Moulding Validation Engineer (Manufacturing/ Medical/ Contract)6-Months Contract Salary: Up to $9,000 depending on experience Completion Bonus Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Injection Moulding Validation Engineer to support a key project involving the manufacture and validation of precision-moulded components. This is a pivotal role supporting a major global healthcare manufacturer in partnership with an established injection moulding supplier in Singapore. You will play a central role in ensuring that all moulding and validation activities meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and compliance, from early tool qualification through to full-scale readiness. Responsibilities Lead and execute validation activities for injection moulding tools — including IQ, OQ, PQ, tool characterization, and metrology methodology qualification. Oversee validation of three 1-cavity tools in the initial phase, expanding to three 4-cavity tools as production capacity scales. Collaborate closely with the injection moulding supplier to develop and optimize production readiness processes. Conduct risk assessments and ensure mitigation strategies are in place throughout the validation lifecycle. Verify supplier Quality Management System (QMS) readiness and ensure full compliance with relevant regulatory and quality standards. Interface cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure successful project execution. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Polymer Engineering (or related field). Proven experience in injection moulding validation within a regulated industry (Ideally medical devices or high-precision manufacturing). Excellent technical knowledge of tooling, mould design, process validation, and metrology. Familiarity with ISO 13485, FDA QSR, or equivalent quality systems. Excellent problem‐solving, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills. Ability to work effectively with external suppliers and cross‐functional teams in a fast‐paced, technical environment.
