**Position: Mould Designer
**Responsibilities**:

- Develop mould designs consistent with SPI 101-401 class of injection moulds.
- Develop and systematically integrate new mould design approaches and new mould technology.
- Deliver complete 3D mould designs together with 2D drafting ready for fabrication.
- Conduct DFM **(Design for Manufacturing) **/Mould concept discussions/design review with internal team, customers and suppliers.
- Leverage modelling and simulation studies to improve and optimize mould designs to run high-volume production with high productivity and extended tool life.
- Design of precision moulds/jigs and fixtures using Unigraphs software.

**Requirements**:

- Possess Diploma / Nitec in Mechanical, Plastic, Precision Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experiences in precision injection moulds preferred.
- Good knowledge in hydraulics, pneumatics and servo driven actions required for moulds including design concepts and fabrication process.
- Strong Unigraphics 3D design and 2D drafting skills with proficiency in GD&T.
- Proficiency in using of Moldflow and CAD CAM software will be added advantage.
