Offshore Safety and Environmental Excellence Lead

We are seeking an accomplished Offshore Safety and Environmental Excellence Lead to join our team. This role will involve providing expert guidance to business units and leadership to meet HSSEQ objectives and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement processes aligned to ISO standards and best practices in offshore production.
  • Ensure risks are systematically assessed, managed, and tracked. Lead risk registers, audits, and assessments.
  • Deliver accurate, timely HSSEQ reporting (weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual) to drive data-informed decisions.
  • Lead investigations with structured methodologies (e.g., ICAM, TapRoot) to address root causes.
  • Define and enforce contractor HSE performance standards and continuous evaluation protocols.
  • Build competency within HSSEQ teams and across departments through structured training and development programs.
  • Embed best practices, benchmarking, and lean methodologies to elevate performance across all fronts.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in HSE leadership roles within offshore, marine, or oil & gas environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and integrated management systems.
  • Certified WSH Officer and/or NEBOSH Diploma / Chartered IOSH or equivalent international qualifications.
  • Root Cause Analysis certification (e.g., ICAM, TapRoot, Kelvin TOP-SET).
  • Lead Auditor certification in ISO frameworks preferred.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and change leadership skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate safety goals into operational results.
