Duties & Responsibilities: • \tConduct technical reviews to ensure compliance with project specifications and requirements.• \tCoordinate activities with subcontractors in accordance with project schedules and contract terms.• \tManage the project budget and expenditures to ensure adherence to financial guidelines.• \tManage and allocate all on-site resources effectively.• \tOversee workplace safety to ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations.• \tMonitor construction quality to ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations.• \tMonitor construction progress against the project timeline and implement corrective actions as needed.• \tNegotiate with relevant parties (e.g., clients, subcontractors, suppliers) to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.• \tDevelop and manage work schedules to ensure project plans are executed effectively.• \tPrepare regular reports to track project progress, costs, and key metrics.• \tPrepare tenders and contract bids.• \tSupervise the on-site labour force to ensure all operations comply with established standards and regulations.Please Note that the working place is at Jurong IslandRequirements: • \t8 Years experience as Deputy Construction Manager OR at least 8 years or More as civil engineer.• \tAble to Issue and Approve PTW• \tDegree in Civil Engineering (Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the PE Board or qualification acceptable to the BCA• \tThis requires a practical understanding of Singapore's key construction regulations, including the Building Control Act for structural integrity, Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act for on-site safety, and quality benchmarks like BCA CONQUAS. It ensures all work is legally compliant, safe, and meets industry standards.• \tMust be a team player with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of management.• \tMay be require to work long hours during peak period
