Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Expert to join our team as an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Specialist. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the integrity of our financial systems by conducting thorough due diligence on clients across various segments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, business, or law, with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in AML/KYC operations within the banking or financial services sector. Proficiency in Source of Wealth (SOW) and Source of Funds (SOF) validation is essential, as is excellent knowledge of Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth SOW analysis and validation to ensure narratives and supporting documentation are accurate and compliant.
  • Assess and verify SOF where required, maintaining transparency and reasonableness.
  • Prepare clear rationales for SOW assessments, aligned with internal policy and regulatory expectations.
  • Identify and escalate potential AML, sanctions, fraud, or reputational risks to senior management or compliance as necessary.
  • Collaborate with front office, compliance, and other stakeholders to resolve KYC-related queries efficiently.
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving AML/KYC regulations and SOW standards across relevant jurisdictions.
  • Support internal audits, regulatory inspections, and periodic control testing by providing accurate KYC/SOW documentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Law, or related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of AML/KYC experience within banking or financial services.
  • Hands-on experience with SOW and SOF validation.
  • Excellent knowledge of CDD/EDD processes and relevant AML regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and documentation skills with attention to detail.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good to have CAMS or equivalent AML certification.
