Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Financial Expert to lead the configuration of our accounting and finance systems. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Murex, particularly in the areas of accounting rules and financial reporting.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Murex Accounting and wider Finance stream.
  • Conduct functional analysis of Accounting changes shared by Murex and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Define process and report adaptations required due to Changes introduced in higher versions of Murex.
  • Represent Accounting/Finance stream at Project meetings and lead critical upgrade-related activities.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and transform them into change or project initiatives.
Requirements

* Minimum 5-8 years of experience configuring accounting rules in Murex for various asset classes like Derivatives, FI, and FX.

* At least one Murex implementation or Murex Upgrade experience.

* Understanding of Finance reports, primarily PnL and accrual reports.

* Expertise in Murex configuration for PnL-related setup, including Accounting and Economic PnL, and associated components like past and future cash.

Nice-to-have Skills

* Implementations and upgrades: MXpress; FEM migrations, MXplus updates, and MX.3 main-branch upgrades.
