Overview
Primecare Home Care Services is a licensed Private Home Care provider offering Skilled Nursing, Personal Care, Companionship, and Structured Family Caregiving in the client's home. Each client is assigned a primary and backup caregiver based on interests and needs to help clients continue to reside in their home.
Position Summary
You will implement customized care plans to nurture the whole person in mind, body, and spirit. You will provide impeccable care to clients by assisting in scheduled activities and overall care management. You will treat clients like family, going above and beyond to enhance their quality of life. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a deep commitment to compassionate and quality care.
Compensation
$13–$14 per hour
Responsibilities
Carry out assigned tasks on clients and follow care plans.
Help clients maintain personal hygiene and assist with activities of daily living.
Take and record vital signs as assigned, including blood pressure, temperature, respiration.
Provide companionship to the client when needed.
Recognize client needs, maintain good relationships, and communicate observations to the supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in home health care as a Personal Care Assistant
Excellent customer service and attention to client needs
Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) Certification
Valid Basic Life Support Training (First Aid & CPR) must be in-person
TB Screening/PPD Chest X-Ray (Within 30 days)
Valid Driver's License and reliable means of transportation
Empathy, compassion, and kindness
Ability to use sound judgment and stay calm in various situations
Reliable, dependable, and punctual
Basic computer skills and overall technical savviness
Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
Background check and references
Preferred Qualifications
3 years experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant
3 years experience in home health care
