About the Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced, detail oriented designer to help take our design system to the next level. As a systems designer, you will empower designers across the organization to build more cohesive, accessible, and high quality experiences for our customers through leading and evolving our multi-platform design system. You will be responsible for creating a robust and intuitive system of documentation as well as iterating on and creating new components that evolve our visual and interaction patterns across user touch points. You will support the design system through evaluative research, pixel-perfect mockups, high-fidelity prototypes, and thoughtful interaction design.
What You'll Be Doing
Own the execution and evolution of the Design System here at OKX by designing, refining, and documenting intuitive and robust componentsPartner with cross-functional peers within Product and Engineering to define initiatives and create a world-class and global Design SystemDesign micro interactions, transitions and animation for product touchpointsDesign icons, components and asset libraries, including documentationEvangelize systems thinking and drive for consistent, high-quality craft by collaborating with designers throughout the organizationThink in terms of systems, not just one-off solutions, that scale across our entire ecosystemCollaborate closely with Product Design, Brand, and Product leadership to shape the overall vision and product strategy to develop visual design principles for how the brand is expressed in our productsConsistently elevate the quality of the design by soliciting feedback from peers and stakeholders through formal Design Review, presentations, and by facilitating design thinking workshopsRemain current on industry and design trends as it relates to branded product experiencesWork closely with Engineering to build robust, stateful components in Figma for multi devicesShip work that reflects well on your team and your company's brand
What We Look For In You
Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or equivalent practical experience3+ years of dedicated Design Systems experience in a complex environment5+ years of relevant industry experience in a Product Design, Interaction Design, or UX Design role, with specific concentration in design systems, data visualizations. etc.Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams of Designers, Product Manager, Engineers, UX Writers, and ResearchersFamiliarity of designing for multiple platforms including native and responsive designSystems thinking and experience building robust Design Systems and components in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or FramerWell versed in basic web development including HTML, CSS, and JavascriptStrong knowledge of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and Google's Material DesignExperience using qualitative or quantitative data to inform and measure the impact of the workResults-driven and adaptive to changesAbility to mentor other designers on IxD, Design System, and patterns
