About the role VLK Traders Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSSE Co-ordinator to join our team. This is a full-time position based in the Downtown Tanjong Pagar Central Region area. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, security and environment (HSSE) standards are maintained across our operations. What you'll be doing Developing, implementing and monitoring HSSE policies, procedures and systems to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices Conducting risk assessments, audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential HSSE hazards Providing training and guidance to employees on HSSE protocols and safe work practices Investigating and reporting on HSSE incidents, near misses and accidents, and implementing corrective actions Collaborating with cross-functional teams to promote a strong HSSE culture and continuous improvement Preparing and analysing HSSE data and metrics to identify trends and drive performance improvements Staying up-to-date with changes in HSSE regulations and industry standards, and adapting our processes accordingly What we're looking for Minimum 1 year's experience in an HSSE co-ordination or management role, preferably within the maritime industries Strong knowledge of HSSE regulations, standards and best practices applicable to our industry Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills to identify and address HSSE risks Proven ability to develop and implement effective HSSE policies, procedures and training programmes Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate with employees at all levels Proficient in data analysis and report writing to provide meaningful insights and recommendations Proactive, detail-oriented and committed to promoting a culture of safety and environmental sustainability What we offer At VLK Traders Singapore, we are committed to the wellbeing and professional development of our employees.
