Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Cloud Engineer
to join our team on a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in
Azure cloud operations, cloud migrations, and infrastructure automation , and will be responsible for supporting our move from on-premises to the cloud.
Responsibilities
Lead and support
cloud operations
and migration from on-premises to
Azure .
Manage and configure
Azure File Share (AFS), Resource Groups, and Terraform-based deployments .
Implement and maintain
hybrid cloud architectures , ensuring scalability and resilience.
Monitor and optimize the
cost, performance, and utilization
of cloud infrastructure.
Plan and execute infrastructure changes, upgrades, and enhancements.
Apply
scripting and automation tools
(Git, Bash, Terraform, Python, PowerShell) to streamline operations.
Drive
cloud infrastructure projects
within the region.
Implement and maintain
security controls and compliance standards
across cloud environments.

Primary Skills
Proven experience in
Azure cloud infrastructure .
Strong background in
hybrid cloud implementations .
Proficiency in
automation and scripting tools
(Git, Bash, Terraform, Python, PowerShell).
Hands-on experience in
infrastructure monitoring, optimization, and upgrades .
Strong knowledge of
cloud security practices .
Secondary Skills
Familiarity with multiple
cloud platforms
(Azure, GCP, AliCloud) and on-prem technologies.
Understanding of
networking concepts, TCP/IP, and DNS .
Relevant
cloud certifications
(e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate) will be an advantage.
Requirements
6–12 years of experience
in Cloud Engineering / Cloud Operations.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead regional cloud infrastructure projects.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
