Power Electronics Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled Power Electronics Engineer to design, develop, and test power electronic systems and components. This role involves designing and developing power electronic converters including AC/DC, DC/DC, such as Totem-pole PFC, T-type, Vienna Rectifier, LLC, Buck, Boost, SR, Flyback.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of power electronics theory and applications, proficiency in circuit design and simulation tools, and experience with embedded systems and digital control of power converters. Additionally, they will be familiar with safety and regulatory standards (UL, IEC, ISO, etc.) and have excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including hardware, firmware, and mechanical engineers, to support prototyping, testing, and validation of power electronic systems. The successful candidate will also be responsible for documenting designs, test procedures, and reporting test results.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, specialized in Power Electronics, with 2-5 years' experience in the same industry.
  • Strong understanding of power electronics theory and applications.
  • Proficiency in circuit design and simulation tools.
  • Experience with embedded systems and digital control of power converters.
  • Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards (UL, IEC, ISO, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Open Compute Project (OCP) standards.
  • Hands-on experience with GaN/SiC devices and advanced magnetics design.
  • Hands-on experience with PCB layout and thermal management.
  • Proficiency with Python scripts.
