Responsibilities
You will be part of a dynamic regional feature team supporting the local regulatory reporting functions in the bank, owned by Finance. Key stakeholders you will be interacting with include Finance, Operations, and other IT feature teams at local, regional, and global levels.
As a business analyst / project manager, your major responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Business and impact analysis for the local regulatory reporting functional domain, and some light development in our regional reporting solution, AxiomSL.
Collect, analyze, and prepare user requirements. Conduct gap analysis, and provide detailed functional specifications aligned with all stakeholders.
Project manage/stream lead initiatives that impact our functional domain.
Monitor & provide reporting to highlight project progress and risks to management and project governance.
Coordinate and handle preliminary user acceptance tests and effectively communicate findings to users for their final validation.
Connect the dots between multiple stakeholders, locations, impacts, and drive the change to be delivered within agreed timeframes and budget.
Identify operational inefficiencies within our domain and provide ideas for resolution, whether based on IT solutions, process changes, or both.
Coordinate actions with Regional and Global teams to leverage other entities’ knowledge/experience and ensure global process consistency.
Enforce the spirit of agile and continuous delivery in our value-driven deliverables.
Profile Required
Business analysis skills: Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, critical thinking, solution-oriented.
Project management skills: Ability to see the global picture and think strategically, identify dependencies and risks, stakeholder management & communication, ability to structure ideas into concrete actions, familiar with agile methodology for change.
Comfortable with analyzing an abundance of data to resolve problems beyond the surface and potentially identify trends.
Soft skills: Adaptable, organized, clear communications, interpersonal, independent yet team-oriented, change mindset.
Experience in the investment banking industry across a wide range of domains with a focus on regulatory reporting and finance.
Extensive years of experience in the banking industry.
Excellent academic record including a degree in Engineering or Accounting and Finance.
Previous experience with regulatory reporting solutions is a huge plus, particularly AxiomSL.

Department Description
The GCOO/CFT (Corporate Functions Technology) department leads IT transformations and provides IT solutions to Finance. The team is a regional team with 9 members based in Hong Kong and Bangalore, covering the Asia Pacific region (Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, China, India, and Australia).
The open position is within the RRR (Regulatory & Risk Reporting) sub-department and will be supporting the local regulatory reporting domain.
