Data Migration Role

This role involves the migration of data from one system to another, ensuring a seamless transition with minimal disruption. The ideal candidate will have experience in ETL processes, Informatica PowerCenter, SQL, and PowerShell scripting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and manage the data migration process, identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand data migration requirements and develop effective solutions.
  • Analyze source system data to manage source-to-target data mapping and perform migration testing.
  • Create end-user documentation for the new repository and provide training as needed.
  • Attach metadata to documents by analyzing their content or working with knowledgeable owners or teams.
  • Migrate key documents from legacy tools to a common SharePoint-based repository.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
  • Relevant working experience in ETL, Informatica PowerCenter, SQL, PowerShell scripting, databases, Unix Shell, etc.
  • Knowledge in the Data Warehousing Domain.
  • Familiarity with Waterfall & Agile methodologies.
