Lead Enterprise IT Strategy and Operations

As a seasoned IT Manager, you will lead the design, implementation, and migration of enterprise infrastructure and cloud platforms, with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365. This role owns end-to-end delivery - from discovery and design through build, cutover, and steady-state operations - while driving service excellence, security, compliance, and cost optimization.

  • Cloud Strategy & Architecture: Define and execute hybrid-cloud strategy (on-prem + Azure), landing zones, and governance frameworks.
  • Major Transformations: Oversee Azure and Microsoft 365 migrations, modernisation initiatives, and infrastructure optimisation.
  • Delivery & Governance: Manage scope, timelines, budgets, and risks across multiple projects using PMP best practices.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations for cloud, compute, storage, network, identity, and collaboration platforms.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement security-by-design principles, including Conditional Access, Defender suite, and vulnerability management.
  • Cost Optimisation & Performance: Manage cloud budgets and apply FinOps disciplines for cost efficiency.
  • Leadership & Development: Mentor and develop a high-performing technical team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 10+ years in IT, with at least 5 years in managerial roles.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Proven track record in large-scale Azure and Microsoft 365 implementations and migrations.
    • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Exchange Hybrid, Active Directory, networking, and automation (PowerShell).
  • Certifications:
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (or equivalent)
    • PMP (Project Management Professional)
    • ITIL v4
    • FinOps, CISM/CISSP will be an added advantage
