Overview
Associate Engineer (Fire Testing Products) role focused on conducting fire and mechanical testing for fire-related products and ensuring compliance with international standards. Reports to the Product Manager and supports the day-to-day operation of the Fire Property Group.
Responsibilities
Conduct fire and mechanical testing and evaluation on fire-related products to ensure compliance with international standards
Prepare test samples and test rigs
Prepare test and inspection reports
Upkeep test reports and related records
Maintain and upkeep test facilities and laboratory equipment
Qualifications / Qualifikationen
Diploma or NITEC in Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering
Prior testing experience would be an added advantage
Relevant experience or knowledge in Quality Management System, ISO 17025 accreditation and/or Internal Quality Audit Exposure would be an added advantage
Result and service-oriented individual who possesses initiative and good communication skills
Proactive team player but with the ability to work independently in challenging timelines
Enthusiastic and resourceful with a can-do attitude
