Overview
Machine Operator role at GE Vernova. Perform machine operations and water flow test for gas turbine blades. This position reports to the Operations Leader.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate machines (such as shop peen, cold spray, backflush and moment weighing) as assigned for repairing of gas turbine blades (training will be provided for the specialized machines).
Perform quality check after the process.
Ensure following instructions and comply with all quality requirements.
Adhere to all applicable EHS rules and regulations and the employee's EHS responsibilities.
Ensure product quality, equipment care, meet production output/pace, housekeeping and schedules.
Perform tasks as assigned by work leader, supervisor or engineers.
Qualifications / Requirements
Completion of Secondary level or higher education
NITEC in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering is preferred
3 years of working experience in the related field is preferred; candidates without relevant experience will also be considered as on-the-job training will be provided.
Able to perform rotating shift
