Machine Operator

Job Summary:

The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating various machine tools to produce high-quality products.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate electrical discharge machines, lathes, radial grinders, reciprocal grinders, milling machines, drilling machines, and specialized equipment.
  • Perform machining operations of complex nature to produce jigs, fixtures, tools, dies, gauges, test equipment, and product parts.
  • Work from blueprints, sketches, written, or verbal instructions to ensure accurate production.
  • Assist lower-rated machine operators in setting up and operating various machine tools and specialized equipment.
  • Ensure product quality, proper equipment care, meet production output and schedules, maintain housekeeping, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of machine operation and maintenance.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or certification in a related field preferred.
