The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee sourcing operations, vendor management, and cost optimization strategies. The successful candidate will play a key role in building a reliable supply base and ensuring consistent product quality across all procurement channels. You will work closely with regional teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to streamline procurement processes and support business expansion initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end procurement process for fresh produce and food-related categories, from supplier identification to contract negotiation. Develop and maintain strong relationships with global and regional suppliers to secure the best quality, pricing, and delivery timelines. Implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals, focusing on cost efficiency, quality assurance, and supplier reliability . Collaborate with the logistics, warehousing, and quality control teams to ensure smooth operations and product consistency. Monitor market trends, commodity pricing, and supply chain risks to anticipate fluctuations and adjust sourcing strategies. Evaluate supplier performance regularly and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure full compliance with internal policies, import/export regulations, and food safety standards. Support management in budget forecasting, vendor audits, and sustainability initiatives . Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration , or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in procurement , preferably within the food, fresh produce, or FMCG industry. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills with a proven record of cost optimization and supplier development. Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in Mandarin and English (to liaise with regional stakeholders and suppliers). Familiarity with cold-chain logistics and cross-border sourcing will be an advantage. Preferred Attributes Hands-on experience in international sourcing or import/export procurement . Strong understanding of quality assurance and food safety compliance standards . Strategic mindset with attention to operational details and cost control. Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
