Lead Design Engineer Opportunity

This leadership role involves guiding and mentoring a team of engineers to achieve their full potential. As a Lead Design Engineer, you will oversee engineering tasks, monitor project progress, and ensure timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and guide thermal & mechanical design engineers in their career development.
  • Assign and track engineering tasks to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
  • Collaborate with various teams, including project, procurement, QA/QC, and fabrication, for seamless coordination.
  • Evaluate client specifications and verify compliance with relevant industry standards.
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact during design reviews, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Contribute to proposal and estimation teams by offering technical insights to drive business growth.
  • Drive process improvements and adopt innovative tools to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Track project deliverables and report to senior management on project progress and performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in thermal & mechanical design (heat exchangers / pressure vessels).
  • At least 2 years of lead/supervisory experience, demonstrating strong leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in HTRI, Aspen EDR, PVElite, Autopipe-Vessel software.
  • Strong knowledge of TEMA, ASME VIII, API 660 standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Professional Qualifications:
