Job Title: Media Program Director

Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the Film and Media Department, ensuring alignment with industry requirements and academic excellence.
  • Oversee the management of departmental resources, including budget planning, cost management, and revenue growth initiatives.
  • Design cutting-edge curriculum incorporating emerging technologies and industry practices, fostering partnerships with media companies, production houses, and content creators.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging lessons for diploma and professional development courses, monitoring course alignment with objectives and driving implementation of innovative learning methods and technology integration.
  • Monitor performance and development of academic staff, assist in recruitment and selection, and implement professional development programs to enhance capability across the department.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in program development and management, preferably in the film and media industry.
  • Strong understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, and academic best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
  • Ability to foster partnerships with industry stakeholders and academics.
