Vice President

Vice President, Research and Development (R&D) Drive AI innovation. Lead end-to-end product development. Build a world-class R&D organization. We are seeking a visionary yet hands‑on VP of R&D to lead our AI‑driven product innovation and shape the company’s long‑term technology road map. This is a strategic leadership role for an experienced builder who can turn ideas into polished, deployment‑ready products while developing a high‑performance R&D team. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Define, develop and execute the R&D strategy to support the company’s long‑term vision, growth and innovation objectives. Team Management: Lead, mentor and develop the R&D team. Recruit and develop team leaders, provide regular feedback and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration. Demonstrate strong, patient leadership that promotes teamwork and cooperation with no room for ego‑driven behavior. Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage the R&D budget, allocate resources and ensure projects stay within budget and on schedule. Product Development: Oversee all stages of product development - from concept to implementation across software and AI‑driven technologies. Demonstrate proven end‑to‑end development leadership with strong emphasis on rigorous testing, product refinement and polishing before deployment. Share insights on challenges faced throughout development to ensure high‑quality, field‑ready products. Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as Marketing and Sales to ensure product success and alignment with market demands. Innovation and Market Awareness: Stay current on industry trends, technological advancements and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge. Demonstrate creative problem‑solving by finding workarounds, exploring alternative approaches and proposing new ideas to overcome challenges and keep innovation moving forward. Performance and Compliance: Ensure all R&D initiatives meet quality standards, regulatory requirements and key performance indicators (KPIs). Required Skills & Qualifications Leadership and Communication: Proven ability to lead, influence and collaborate with diverse teams and senior stakeholders. Technical Expertise: Deep technical knowledge in AI, data platforms or relevant technological fields with strong understanding of product development processes. Strategic and Analytical Thinking: Strong problem‑solving, analytical and decision‑making skills with a results‑driven mindset. Project Management: Demonstrated experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously from planning through execution. Education: Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive R&D leadership, including experience as VP or Head of R&D with hands‑on involvement in product innovation and development.
