Job Overview
The successful Design Development Specialist will be responsible for preparing all drafting works as directed by project managers and quantity surveyors. This includes liaising with consultants and sub-contractors involved in the projects, preparing drawings, data, and design information, and producing measurements quickly, accurately, and within the targeted time schedule.
Responsibilities
1. Prepare and submit 2D AUTOCAD shop drawings for carpentry/joinery projects.
2. Meet with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and project managers to understand project requirements.
3. Develop and maintain knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree holder in a related field.
- At least 2 years experience in carpentry/joinery fields.
- Ability to work independently and in a team structure.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proficient in Revit, Microsoft Office, and AutoCAD software.
- Strong understanding of construction methods and practices.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
