The Opportunity:

Work Hour: 8am - 5pm
Adecco is partnering with a reputable Precision Engineering firm to search for a Supplier Quality Engineer to support their project ramp up. The ideal candidate will have prior Supplier Quality Engineering experience in Electro-mechanical commodities such as PCBA, Motor, Cables, Encoders, Controllers, etc.
The Job:
On-Site Response to Machine Issues to identify, diagnose, and resolve supplier quality and supplier process-related problems to achieve defined First Pass Yield, Productivity, and Target Throughput.
Make the disposition of the defective material on site (analyze defects and determine whether to return to suppliers).
Perform failure analysis using both special failure analysis tools and on-machine level.
Drive programs (NPI and Supply Chain) to develop supplier manufacturing processes and quality systems.
Provide technical support and drive continuous improvement systems to achieve problem resolution involving coordination between production, engineering, procurement, and suppliers.
Select, perform supplier audit and First Article qualification of components/assemblies, and develop new suppliers.
Monitor and continually improve suppliers' materials quality performance; compute monthly supplier quality performance and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews.
Drive supplier actions for timely factory manufacturing/materials issues resolution; troubleshoot and drive root cause failure analysis.
Ability to define and document procedures for the organization.
The Talent:
Degree in Electro-Mechanical or Electronics Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of SQE experience.
Experience in managing/resolving part/process issues and experience in supplier quality management.
Good presentation skills and interactive skills to handle suppliers, including top management to derive results.
Ability to write reports on supplier audits.
Capable of interfacing with other departments to resolve technical issues.
