About the Role

We are seeking a Global Supplier Quality Leader to join our team at Johnson Controls, Inc. As a key member of our procurement organization, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of supplier quality strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.

In this role, you will evaluate the risks associated with new suppliers and develop programs to mitigate these risks. You will also work closely with our procurement teams to ensure that suppliers meet our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement supplier quality strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Evaluate the risks associated with new suppliers and develop programs to mitigate these risks.
  • Work closely with our procurement teams to ensure that suppliers meet our quality standards.
  • Lead audits and assessments of suppliers to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or supply chain management.
  • Air conditioner product and supplier management experience is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in supplier quality management, continuous improvement in manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain management.
  • Hands-on experience of successful application of Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing tools.
