Speech Therapist for Children

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist to join our team of professionals dedicated to providing exceptional care to children with speech and language disorders.

  • This role involves conducting 1-to-1 and/or group speech therapy sessions in various settings, including our center, preschools, or home environments as required.
  • The successful candidate will support and provide individualized and/or group therapy in our Early Intervention Programmes as assigned.
  • Conducting thorough assessments to diagnose speech, language, communication, feeding, and swallowing disorders is also a key responsibility.
  • Collaborating with families, caregivers, and other professionals to develop and implement tailored treatment plans is essential.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documenting client progress is crucial.

Key Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy or a related field from an AHPC recognized institution.
  • Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) in Singapore.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a pediatric setting and working with children and families.
  • Proficiency in speech and language assessment tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Basic knowledge of research methods and evidence-based practice.
  • Time management and organisational skills.
  • Experience in assessing and treating speech and language disorders.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience in working with children with special needs or in Early Intervention Programmes is a plus.

Additional Information:

The successful candidate will need to commit to working 5 days a week from Tuesday to Saturday, with shifts from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
