Speech and Language Care Specialist for Children

  • The role of a Speech Therapist involves providing exceptional care to children with speech and language disorders.">

  • Supporting and providing individualized and/or group therapy in Early Intervention Programmes is also a key responsibility.">
  • Conducting thorough assessments to diagnose speech, language, communication, feeding, and swallowing disorders is essential.">
  • Collaborating with families, caregivers, and other professionals to develop and implement tailored treatment plans is crucial.">
  • Maintaining accurate records and documenting client progress is vital.">

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • ">
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech and Language Therapy or a related field from an recognized institution.">
  • Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) in Singapore.">
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a pediatric setting and working with children and families.">
  • Proficiency in speech and language assessment tools.">
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.">
  • Ability to develop and implement treatment plans.">
  • Basic knowledge of research methods and evidence-based practice.">
  • Time management and organisational skills.">
  • Experience in assessing and treating speech and language disorders.">
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.">
  • Experience in working with children with special needs or in Early Intervention Programmes is beneficial.">

Additional Information

The successful candidate will need to commit to working 5 days a week from Tuesday to Saturday, with shifts from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
