Product Compliance Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Compliance Engineer to support our engineering team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for ensuring our products meet international safety standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough reviews and assessments of product designs to guarantee compliance with international safety regulations.
- Collaborate closely with design engineers to incorporate essential safety requirements into product designs.
- Identify potential safety risks in product designs and suggest practical solutions.
- Monitor and interpret changes in global safety standards, translating them into clear design and testing criteria.
- Coordinate with external certification bodies for safety audits, including documentation preparation and on-site support.
- Support safety testing activities alongside test engineers and review safety test reports.
- Conduct formal risk assessments and maintain comprehensive technical and compliance records.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with teams from R&D, manufacturing, legal, and quality to promote safety awareness and ensure compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge of international safety standards and certifications such as CE, UL, IEC 60204, and SEMI S2/S8.
- Proficient in applying risk assessment methods and understanding of mechanical and electrical safety principles.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in fast-paced environments.
