Category Manager – BWS & Tobacco Location: Tampines North, Singapore Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 6:00pm (5-day work week)Salary: S$5,000 – S$7,000/month Urgent Hire Benefits & Perks 3-month probation period Annual salary increment 1-month AWS + Variable Bonus Leave entitlements: Annual Leave: 21 days Medical Leave: 21 days Hospitalization Leave: 60 days (inclusive of ML)Qualifications Diploma or Degree in Business/Retail Management Experience 2–5 years in sourcing, buying, and category management Minimum 3 years in category-specific roles Core Requirements Strong background in FMCG and commercial roles Deep understanding of the buy-to-sell process Financial literacy for data-driven decision-making Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills Proficient in Microsoft Excel; SAP knowledge is a plus Key Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic category plans to meet financial goals Drive category sales, profit, and income through tailored business plans Curate product mix aligned with customer preferences Design and implement promotional trade plans for incremental growth Source products internationally to meet local demand Conduct range reviews to optimize sales and profitability Develop competitive pricing strategies Build strong supplier relationships to maximize terms and discounts Ensure compliance with inventory and shrinkage policies Mentor and guide team members Lead category-specific projects independently Collaborate with Commercial Heads and stakeholders on strategic planning Prepare weekly analysis reports for senior management Foster a culture of learning and collaboration across teams We welcome applicants with relevant experience to apply.
