Overview

Join us at Barclays' Compliance Assurance team, we are actively seeking seasoned professionals with deep expertise in Private Banking to join our Compliance Assurance team. In this pivotal role, you will conduct Private Banking product-focused testing that address Compliance risks (excluding Financial Crime), while engaging with stakeholders across APAC and globally.

While broad knowledge of Global Investment Banking and Corporate Banking is valued as this role will also support Investment Banking and Corporate Banking reviews, in-depth Private Banking experience is essential. You will serve as the Private Banking lead within the APAC Compliance Assurance Team, bringing critical insights to the testing and findings identified in Private Banking Assurance reviews in relation to complex product structures, client interactions, and regulatory expectations unique to the PB landscape.

You should possess:

  • Exceptional investigative skills to identify key risks, control gaps, and areas of non-conformance through controls and outcomes testing.
  • Experience in root cause analysis, read-across identification, and the ability to confidently present contentious findings to senior management.
  • A proven track record of high performance, structured execution, and timely delivery of high-quality work.
