About the Role
Home & Decor is Singapore's premiere media brand dedicated to the home-building journey, inspiring and guiding Singaporeans through every step of creating their dream homes.
We're seeking a commercially-driven, digitally savvy Editor who can balance editorial excellence with business growth. You'll lead our content strategy across all platforms while driving revenue opportunities and building valuable industry relationships.
Develop revenue-generating content partnerships and branded campaigns that maintain editorial integrity while meeting client objectives
Collaborate with sales teams to create compelling commercial packages across digital, social platforms and print
Identify and capitalise on new monetisation opportunities aligned with our audience interests
Drive web traffic growth, engagement metrics targets through data-informed content decisions
Lead SEO optimisation strategies to improve content discoverability and performance
Oversee the creation of engaging content across multiple formats (articles, videos, social media) that resonates with our audience
Analyse performance metrics to continuously refine our content approach
Video & Multimedia Development
Serve as a brand ambassador through on-camera appearances in video content, interviews, and industry events
Guide the conceptualisation and production of video series and multimedia projects
Ensure cohesive storytelling across all formats while maintaining Home & Decor’s distinctive voice
Mentor and develop a talented team of content creators and freelancers
Foster a culture of innovation, efficiency, and accountability
Manage editorial budgets, deadlines, and resources effectively
Industry Connection
Leverage and expand your network within Singapore's design, property, and home decor communities
Represent the title at industry events, building strategic partnerships and raising brand profile
Stay ahead of emerging trends and bring fresh perspectives to our audience
Who we are looking for
Experience & Skills
Minimum 8 years of proven content/editorialexperience
Demonstrated ability to grow digital audiences and meet performance KPIs
Strong understanding of content monetisation strategies
Experience developing and executing video content strategies
Comfort with both on-camera appearances and behind-the-scenes production
Data literacy and experience using analytics to drive content decisions
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
Personal Attributes
Commercially minded with business acumen and revenue focus
Well-connected in Singapore's design, property, or media landscape
Digitally fluent across multiple platforms and formats
Creative storyteller with a passion for home design and decor
Collaborative leader who works effectively across departments
Confident on-camera presence with authentic communication style
