Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing electrical and instrumentation systems: Developing designs for new systems or modifications to existing systems.

  • Maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation systems: Identifying and resolving issues with electrical and instrumentation systems.

  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards: Implementing and enforcing safety protocols to protect personnel and equipment.

  • Collaborating with other departments: Working with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure smooth plant operations.

  • Developing and implementing maintenance plans: Creating and executing maintenance plans to ensure system reliability and efficiency.

  • Analyzing and optimizing system performance: Reviewing system performance data to identify areas for improvement.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong technical knowledge: Understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems, including design, operation, and maintenance.

  • Problem-solving and analytical skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

  • Communication and interpersonal skills: Effective communication with teams, stakeholders, and management.

  • Safety awareness and compliance: Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols, with a strong commitment to safety.

  • Familiarity with industry standards and codes: Knowledge of relevant industry standards and codes, such as IEC, IEEE, and NFPA.
