Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Trust Director - Operations and Business Development to join our Singapore office. This dual-focus role requires a seasoned professional who can expertly manage trust operations while actively driving new client acquisition. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge in trust structures, estate planning, and wealth succession, combined with strong business development capabilities. Key Responsibilities Trust Operations & Client Service Oversee the establishment, administration, and ongoing maintenance of offshore family trusts for both existing and new clients Manage domestic trust marketing initiatives for internal referrals within Noah's global wealth management network Provide comprehensive advice on trust structures, estate planning, wills, succession strategies, and cross-border tax optimization Design and implement sophisticated wealth succession solutions tailored to clients' multi-generational legacy objectives Deliver offshore company incorporation and corporate secretarial services to support clients' international structures Business Development Proactively identify and develop relationships with high-net-worth individuals and families requiring trust and legacy planning services Drive new client acquisition through networking, referrals, industry events, and strategic market engagement Present complex trust and estate planning solutions to prospective clients and convert opportunities into long-term relationships Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects Team Leadership & Strategy Develop and execute annual business plans aligned with departmental targets and growth objectives Lead and mentor the trust team to achieve revenue and service excellence goals Take ownership of team performance metrics and business outcomes Required Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor's degree or above from a prestigious university Minimum 10 years of professional experience in trust management, with demonstrated expertise in family trust structures STEP qualification (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) strongly preferred Proven track record in establishing and managing complex family trust arrangements independently Professional Expertise Deep understanding of trust operations across all lifecycle stages, from structuring to administration Strong expertise in trust structures, legal frameworks, wills, succession planning, and estate administration Comprehensive knowledge of cross-border tax planning and optimization strategies Strong foundation in trust-related risk management and compliance Extensive knowledge of financial products and asset allocation strategies Family office experience highly preferred Language & Personal Attributes Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English (written and spoken) - essential for client communication and internal collaboration Clear career development vision with long-term commitment to the trust industry Strong business development acumen with demonstrated ability to acquire and onboard new clients What We Offer Opportunity to work with ultra-high-net-worth clients across Asia Platform to build and grow your own client portfolio Collaborative environment within a leading wealth management institution Competitive compensation package aligned with performance Professional development in a dynamic, international setting Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Business Development Industries Venture Capital and Private Equity Principals Business Consulting and Services Legal Services Get notified about new Director of Operations jobs in Singapore, Singapore .
