Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Speech and Language Development Specialist to join our team. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a crucial role in identifying and assessing the therapy needs of clients with speech and language disorders, social communication difficulties, dyslexia, autism, ADHD, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster Development of Effective Tools: Develop and implement effective assessment tools and forms for identifying and addressing individual therapy needs.
  • Formulate and Implement Therapy Programs: Create and implement individual/group therapy programs tailored to client needs, focusing on speech and language development, social communication skills, and management of conditions such as dyslexia, autism, and ADHD.
  • Provide One-to-One or Group Interventions: Deliver one-to-one or group interventions based on client assessments and needs, ensuring personalized support for optimal progress.
  • Evaluate and Document Progress: Regularly evaluate and document clients' progress, monitoring their growth and adjusting therapy plans accordingly.
  • Consult with Staff and Caregivers: Collaborate with staff and caregivers to enhance services, share knowledge, and provide support for comprehensive care.
  • Write Reports and Case Notes: Prepare detailed reports and case notes on assessments, therapy recommendations, and client progress.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Speech & Language Pathology/Speech Therapy: Possess a recognized Bachelor's degree in Speech & Language Pathology/Speech Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 3 Years' Experience: Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of experience in speech language pathology or special education settings.
  • Knowledge and Experience: Showcase knowledge and experience working with children with special needs and disabilities, including autism, ADHD, and dyslexia.
  • Collaborative Skills: Display excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Report Writing: Possess a high standard of report writing and documentation.
  • Flexibility: Be able to work flexible hours, including Saturdays, as needed.
