Job Overview:
BIM Modellers play a pivotal role in the construction sector, responsible for creating intricate 3D models of buildings and infrastructure. This position requires strong technical expertise in CAD software, specifically AutoCAD, to draft and design routing for Electrical building services drawings. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work under pressure, and maintain compliance with Electrical Standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting and designing routing for Electrical building services drawings in AutoCAD.
  • Preparing detailed design and working drawings such as schematic diagrams, single-line diagrams arrangement/layout drawings.
  • Coordinating with Engineering teams to ensure works are carried out in accordance with drawing specifications.
  • Updating all drawings as per site/vendor modifications for As-Built Drawings.
  • Maintaining compliance to Electrical Standards.
  • Designing and drawing for Building services, e.g., Electrical, Air conditioning, Plumbing, Sanitary and Fire Protection services etc.
  • Attending meetings with consultants, contractors as part of project.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience.
  • Able to read Building drawings, good in Autocad.
  • Well-versed in building regulations and local design codes.
  • Proficient in AutoCad drafting and Microsoft Office.
  • 3D BIM Modelling in Autodesk.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with and influence stakeholders with different objectives.
